El Gobierno nacional anunció que la Agencia Nacional de Discapacidad (ANDIS) dejará de existir como organismo descentralizado y que sus funciones pasarán a ser absorbidas por el Ministerio de Salud. La decisión fue comunicada por el jefe de Gabinete, Manuel Adorni, durante una conferencia de prensa, donde aclaró que la medida no implicará recortes en pensiones ni en prestaciones vinculadas a la discapacidad.
“La Agencia Nacional de Discapacidad, tal como la conocemos, dejará de existir y sus funciones serán absorbidas por el Ministerio de Salud”, afirmó Adorni al brindar detalles sobre la reestructuración. En ese marco, precisó que la ANDIS pasará a funcionar como una secretaría dentro de la cartera sanitaria que conduce Mario Lugones.
Según se informó oficialmente, el nuevo secretario del área de Discapacidad será Alejandro Vilches, quien hasta el momento se desempeñaba como interventor del organismo. El funcionario quedará a cargo del proceso de reorganización administrativa y de la continuidad de las políticas públicas vinculadas al sector, publicó Infobae.
